Mexican Red Burrito Sauce Recipe
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the cumin, chili powder, oregano, paprika, and salt and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the tomato sauce and chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
